General Education Professional Licensure, MEd

Track C M.Ed. for Professional Licensure is designed for those who already possess Initial Licensure to teach in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts but have not earned a Master’s degree before. The 18-credit Track C Post-Master’s Certificate for Professional Licensure program is designed for those who already possess an Initial License and an advanced degree. Students may only pursue Professional Licensure in a field in which they already hold an Initial License. Each version of the program consists of core courses concerning pedagogy related to the student’s level and field, concentration courses concerning content related to the student’s level and field, and practitioner research courses.

Detailed descriptions of each Professional Licensure program are provided below.
