Barbara Davis

Barbara Davis is the Administrative Assistant in the Anthropology Department. She received her BA in French from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 1979 and has worked in the Department since 1980. In addition to her duties in the Anthropology Department, she has been a member of the Holbrook School Committee since 1995, with a one-year hiatus in 2004-2005. She has been working on many educational and budgetary issues facing the public schools and is currently serving as the Vice-Chairperson. She has also been an elected town meeting member since 1993. Barbara is also actively involved in the Holbrook Music Parents Association and has been a community representative and school committee representative to the Holbrook Junior-Senior High School Council where she worked on the NEASC re-accreditation of the High School and is currently working on a new school building project. She was also a member of the Classified Staff Union's By-laws Committee working on drafting the by-laws for the union, newly-affiliated with the MTA/NEA.
