Heather Trigg Heather is a Senior Scientist in the Andrew Fiske Memorial Center for Archaeological Research at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1999. Her research interests include the social and economic effects of colonization on both colonizers and indigenous peoples. She has worked extensively in the Southwest US on both pre-historic and historic sites and is currently working on historic sites in the Northeastern US. She has a technical specialty in paleoethnobotany; and in addition to materials in her research areas, she has identified plant remains from sites in Iran, Mongolia, and Germany. She also teaches courses and advises students in the Historical Archaeology Graduate (M.A.) Program. |
