Alan Waters

Alan is a Lecturer in the Anthropology Department. He has an A.B. degree from Colgate University, an M.A. from York University, and an M.A. from The University of Chicago. He teaches courses in social and cultural anthropology, and his specialized areas of interest include ethnomusicology, the anthropology of art and religion, Africa, the Caribbean, and contemporary American culture, as well as the history of social theory.
