Neal Bruss, Associate Professor and Director of The Technical Writing Program Teaching interests English language, linguistic perspectives on literature, and composition theory. Publications "Ann Michael's Fugitive Pieces, Object Relations, Internalization and the Development of Discourse" (Reader, 48, Spring 2003). Other essays have appeared in Semiotica and the Massachusetts Review. He is co-editor with the translator, I. R. Titunik, of V. N. Voloshinov's Freudianism. He directs the English department's programs in professional and technical writing.
