Marcia Ross, Lecturer
I've been teaching The Short Story and Five British Authors on evenings or Saturdays through the Division of Continuing Education for the last few years. Weekdays, I'm generally at MIT where I work in the Chemistry Dept. Apart from having lived in the Canadian wilderness and one night spent wandering around solo in Paris, teaching has been the thrill and contest of my life. Or maybe it was my recently completed novel, Laila and the Lake, which was once a short story but fell under the evil influence of expansion and digression.
