
2009 Sol Stetin Award for Labor History goes to James Green of UMass Boston
History Professor James Green received the Sol Stetin Award for labor history from the Sidney Hillman Foundation, which presents annual prizes to journalists, film makers, photographers and authors whose work advances the cause of social justice. The judges made the award to honor Green’s career as a scholar, teacher, activist and author who writes working people’s history for working people.
