Professor Oleskiewicz is a two-time recipient of the University's Healey Endowment Award to support her research, editing, and recording of 18th-century chamber music, and was first-prize winner in 2001 in the triennial Baroque Flute Artist competition of the National Flute Association. Performance credits include the Great Performers Series at Lincoln Center, the Boston Early Music Festival, and the Library of Congress, as well as public lecture-demonstrations in the US, Germany, England, and Scotland. In fall 2001 she joined the faculty of the University of Massachusetts Boston as Assistant Professor of Music. She previously served as Assistant Professor of Music at the University of South Dakota and Curator of Musical Instruments at The National Music Museum: America's Shrine to Music, an internationally recognized collection of historical musical instruments in Vermillion, South Dakota.
