The Performing Arts, including Music, Theatre Arts and Dance, offer students the opportunity to acquire skills essential in any career path. Students of music learn to communicate, interpret, empathize, and be inquisitive. Our music curriculum combines professional and artistic instruction preparing students for advanced professional training, music teaching, graduate study, or myriad music-related careers. Theatre students develop creativity, confidence, spontaneity and teamwork skills. Our theatre program provides the knowledge, ability, and experience for undergraduates to pursue further study or training, to enter the expanding world of regional theatre, to teach and direct theatre in schools, or to become active members of the theatre community.
