Robert Rosenfeld

I have been teaching in the Philosophy Department at UMass Boston since September 1984, primarily in logic and ethics. Since September 2001, I have also taught a basic quantitative reasoning course in the Mathematics Department. My research interests have been in bioethics and problems of moral status, though since 1996 I have abandoned active research in favor of teaching and advocacy for adjunct faculty rights, particularly through unionization. I am currently a faculty union officer at Suffolk University, where I have taught logic and ethics since January 1991, and have served on the Faculty Staff Union Executive committee at UMass Boston
