Thomas Ferguson, contributing editor to The Nation, works principally on politics and economics in the U.S. and foreign countries. He is the author or coauthor of a variety of articles and books including Right Turn: The Decline of the Democrats and the Future of American Politics; Golden Rule: The Investment Theory of Parties and the Logic of Money Driven Politics; "Bob's Best Buddies" and "Bill's Big Backers."
