Laurel Wainwright

Dr. Wainwright has been involved with the Autism and Language Disorders Nosology Project for several years. This project represents a large scale collaboration of investigators from many disciplines, all of whom work with children affected by language disorders and/or autism. These researchers have jointly worked to better understand the neuropsychological, social and educational aspects of these developmental disorders. Currently Dr. Wainwright is evaluating aspects of problem solving and social interaction in language disordered and autistic children at ages seven and nine.
