Major Requirements

  • Ten courses (30 credits) must be taken, at least half at the upper level (300 or 400)
  • Six of the ten should be WOST (including “L” cross-listed courses)
  • One course must be chosen from a list of Multicultural Awareness courses
  • One course each must be taken from lists in all four of these categories:

    Historical Perspectives
    Feminist Thought
    Interdisciplinary Research
    Internship/Field Experience

Minor Requirements

  • Six courses (18 credits) must be taken, at least half at the upper level (300 or 400)
  • Three of the six must be WOST (at least one of these at the upper level)
  • One course must be chosen from a list of Multicultural Awareness course
  • At least one course must be taken from a list in one of these four categories
