Since March 2011, the College of Management has launched Bloomberg program within the department. The College is committed to providing students with competitive means of performing academic research as well as preparing for a career in the finance industry.
As the industry standard, the Bloomberg Professional service is the product of choice for real-time and historical financial news for central banks, investment institutions, commercial banks, agencies, and law firms in over 160 countries.

Atreya Chakraborty, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Finance. Professor Chakraborty (atreya.chakraborty@umb.edu) is responsible for Bloomberg program within the College of Management.
Sunny (Xiaoqin) Tang, a student of Master of Science in Finance, is a research assistant to Professor Chakraborty. Currently, she manages Bloomberg operation as well as Bloomberg certification program. Sunny can be reached at xiaoqin.tang001@umb.edu.
