Advising

Students in the LEAD Program will be advised in the College of Management Undergraduate Program office by Mara Sidman, Student Services Specialist. Students are welcome to visit Mara during walk-in hours in the Undergraduate Program Office, located on the 5th floor, room 610 (M-5-610).

Students are required to meet with an advisor before registering for the following semester, and will have an advising hold placed on their record, which prevents registration. Students are also strongly encouraged to meet with their advisor if they have any questions or concerns, large or small, as they progress toward graduation.

MAP Integration

All College of Management students are required to complete the Management Achievement Program (MAP) requirements. MAP events will be incorporated into the LEAD program so students participating will be actively working to earn MAP miles from their very first semester. Students entering CM with fewer than 30 credits have a MAP requirement of 1000 miles.  MAP events are placed into categories, and students in the LEAD program are directed toward events in certain categories, as they are most developmentally appropriate for corresponding elements of the program.

In Fall 2011 LEAD students earned 125 miles through events linked to the MGT130 class alone.
