Profile
Dr. Wiecha's primary research focus is on youth health promotion with emphasis on afterschool programs. She has developed and evaluated nutrition and physical activity standards and interventions for YMCA child care, after school, and youth day camp programs that are currently undergoing national dissemination. In 1998, she helped found the HSPH Prevention Research Center on Nutrition and Physical Activity.
