A warm welcome from Dean Glazer: Our vision is to improve the health of diverse urban populations through the integration of teaching, targeted research, service, practice, and health policy in partnership with others.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) acknowledges a particular responsibility for addressing the health and fitness needs of diverse urban populations and maintains affiliation agreements with 215 agencies for clinical and internship practice.

We are proud to have the only publicly supported BS, MS, and PhD Nursing program in the greater Boston area to graduate a significant number of racially and ethnically diverse baccalaureate-prepared nurses in Massachusetts.

The BS and MS Nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The BS program is approved by the Board of Registration in Nursing, Commonwealth of Massachusetts (BORN) and American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).

The Exercise and Health Sciences program is an active member of the NEACSM, a regional member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
