MFA Craft Workshop in Fiction
Description:
This course is a fiction writing workshop for M.F.A. students that focuses on aspects of craft. Subjects covered in this course may vary from semester to semester, but each class will concentrate on one or more elements of the craft of writing short stories and novelsdialogue, exposition, character development, narrative structure, etc. Reading the published work of accomplished fiction writers and completing weekly exercises, students will hone and refine the tools and techniques necessary for the mastery of prose fiction.
