The Front End of Innovation
Description:
Innovation is a complex process that begins with creative ideas, refines them, and successfully brings them to market. The front-end of innovation is the first or creative phase, dealing with the generation and early development of creative ideas. It is sometimes referred to a the fuzzy front end because it is highly unpredictable, uncontrollable, unmeasurable and, as such, unmanageable. This course explores how individuals and teams in organizations, develop their creativity and how mangers and entrepreneurs foster creativity within their people and turn it into the creative results of innovation.
