Information Technology Services and Operations
Description:
This course is designed to teach the best practices in IT operations management, particularly in organizational IT service creation, IT service quality improvement, and effective IT cost management. The course topics will also include emerging trends and issues relating to todays IT operational environments, such as service-oriented architecture and cloud computing. Through this course, students will achieve practical knowledge and management skills regarding IT components in contemporary firms and their deployment and utilization to optimize organizational IT value. This course will provide students a unique learning experience on those vital, yet unexplored topics and thus make them more successful as a current or future IT manager.
