Clinical Practicum IV: Nurse Educators in Academic Settings
Description:
The course focuses on the advanced teaching skills that nurse educators need in order to help nursing students to acquire the knowledge, skills and values required for professional nursing practice. Seminars focus on the role of the academic nurse educator, clinical and classroom teaching skills, curriculum development and methods for evaluating student learning. Under the guidance of an expert preceptor, students will develop and evaluate learning experiences for nursing students.
