Web Design Educators
Description:
One of the most important innovations in recent years for educators has been the Internet. The ability to locate and reference resources from the World Wide Web is allowing teachers to gather and infuse information in ways that were unheard of a decade ago.
This course is designed to instruct educators in a Web site design through an understanding of HTML and the Web editing package, Dreamweaver. Teachers will learn not only how to create Web pages, but also how to develop a site that will support the educational frameworks of their disciplines. Each student will complete a project consisting of an eight-to-ten page Web site reflecting a number of the techniques learned in a class.
