Description:
Art Now covers the recent history of art from 1945 to the present, examining new forms and practices that begin to emerge in the second half of the 20th century and continue to develop into the 21st century. This course serves as a basic introduction to the primary issues under consideration in contemporary art theory and practice , addressing important challenges launched by contemporary artists to notions such as medium, objecthood, and aesthetics.
