GIScience for Water Resources
Description:
This course will provide students with an introduction to some key geographic information science approaches for investigating issues in water resources and hydrology. Students will build on their existing knowledge of geographic information systems by learning the data structures, approaches, and analytical techniques specifically suited to the investigation and management of water resources. Hands-on GIS lab exercises will augment the concepts introduced in reading and lecture materials to help the student build capability and understanding.
