Exercise Physiology I
Description:
This course examines the acute and chronic effects of exercise on the human body. Specific topic areas to be covered include; 1) energy metabolism, 2) pulmonary system, 3) cardiovascular system, 4) hormones, 5) skeletal muscle, 6) nervous system, and 7) possible other topics such as temperature regulation, affects of altitude, ergogenic aids, etc. Major course concepts will be demonstrated in the accompanying lab sessions.
