Intervention with Elders in a Community-based or Institutional Setting
Description:
This course is designed as an experiential learning activity. The focus is on service-learning as an instructional activity designed to meet the needs of elders in a variety of institutional settings. Students are expected to reflect on issues germane to elders and on ways to address and/or resolve their social and/or health related service needs, long-term or short-term, through direct services.
