Capitalism and Socialism
Description:
a comparative study of the philosophical foundation of two major systems of economic production and distribution. Through readings of representative authors the course focuses on the values embodied in each system. For Example: equality, justice, civil liberties, cooperation, and individual initiative. The nature and importance of underlying assumptions about human needs and desires are also considered.
