Literature of the Hispanic People in the US
Description:
This course examines how shifting cultural identities of Hispanic/Latino writers in the United States are represented in literature. Topics include migration as literary representation; the role of the media; gender tensions; translation in literature; and issues of national and racial origins. This course counts toward the Latin American Studies Concentration.
