Additional Information
Professor Ybarra has been teaching undergraduate courses in writing at CPCS since 1995. His area of expertise is in Communication difficulties and cultural differences between Latino students and Anglo-mainstream instructors, and writing difficulties that Latino students have in English. He plays an important role at CPCS advising students on how to prepare a writing portfolio, and facilitating writing workshops that prepare students to become better writers. He is also the faculty advisor to the Latino Student Organization: CASA LATINA.
