Program for Instructional Innovation
In 2008, Dean Andrew Grosovsky received a grant of $300,000 from the Davis Education Foundation to enhance STEM education at UMass Boston. The three following areas are highlighted as points of focus for the program: Instructional Innovation and Excellence, Excellence in Mentoring, and Science Connect. After three highly successful years of disseminating funds to motivated CSM faculty members, we would like to recognize the Program for Instructional Innovation's projects and PIs:

Student Success Center
The College of Science and Mathematics' Student Success Center has staff available for academic counseling, houses information on workshops and enrichment opportunitites, and can refer students to appropriate resources at UMass Boston. Pre-Medical Advising is also performed through the Student Success Center. It is located in the Science building, Second Floor, Room 60.
