Elaine has accepted the Arnold F. Graves Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Dublin Ireland.

Based in DIT’s Centre for Social and Educational Research’s Higher Education Policy Research Unit (HERPU) she will serve as the Irish lead researcher on a collaboration between Ireland, the Netherlands, and Norway. This Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA) funded project is to measure the societal impacts of universities’ research into the arts and the humanities.

This two year post kicks off in the Netherlands on August 24th.  Elaine will bring Niamh and Ciara to Dublin, get Niamh settled into school and Dermot will follow.  Elaine seeks continued collaboration with colleagues, so if you have any ideas for research between Ireland/Europe and the US feel free to bring it on!  She plans to be at both the IARSLCE and ASHE conferences this Fall and hopes to see you there.
