Degree Requirements for the Public Affairs Master's Degree Program

Students must successfully  complete 36 graduate credits consisting of:

•  eight three-credit courses
•  six one-credit weekend intensive modules (two in each of three semesters)
•  a final six-credit case study seminar ("capstone")

Complete the MSPA Degree in Two Years

The Master's of Science in Public Affairs is a two-year graduate program, designed for working professionals.  

Classes are typically held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8:30 PM and occasional weekend seminars (two weekends per semester for three semesters) are typically held held Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.).
