How much does the program cost?

Each three-credit course costs $1335 (US).  (For those who enroll in the full, 18-graduate-credit program, there is also a $345 new-student fee; this does not apply to those who are taking individual courses.)

Are there any discounts for multiple registrants from one organization?

NGOs, universities/colleges. women's centers, and other organizations may apply for discounts if they form a partnership with the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy and register more than one person at a time.  Contact our Graduate Program Director for more information about this and other partnership opportunities: carol.hardy-fanta@umb.edu

May I register for just one or two classes?

Yes, if you are not ready to commit to the full certificate program, you may enroll in one or two classes; if you decide you want to obtain full credit toward the certificate, you would need to apply to the program and complete all six courses with a 3.0 average.

I am an undergraduate student, may I enroll in your classes?

Upper level undergraduates may enroll with permission of the graduate program director.  Please consult carol.hardy-fanta@umb.edu

Can these courses count toward another graduate degree program?

In most cases, yes. You will need to consult your graduate program director and obtain his/her permission to use one or more of our courses as electives to count toward your graduate degree. Program director Carol Hardy-Fanta will be happy to provide copies of the relevant syllabi and to discuss this further; contact her at carol.hardy-fanta@umb.edu.

What is the registration deadline?

See the Graduate Admissions page for registration information.
