Academy for Higher Education Administration (IVSA-HEA)
UMass Boston’s International Visiting Scholar Academy for Higher Education Administration (IVSA-HEA) is an executive professional development program with certificate. The purpose of IVSA-HEA is to train current and aspiring college and university administrators interested in learning about the internationalization of the campus in the areas of academic affairs, student affairs, and administrative affairs. IVSA-HEA is an individualized program based on preferences (administrative interests, goals/objectives) indicated on the application. Once accepted, the individual will be assigned to an appropriate executive-internship placement within the university system long with a bi-weekly small-group seminar program provided by the Office of International and Transnational Affairs (OITA).
