Performance Management
Employee reviews are conducted once a year for professional and classified staff (newly hired employees will also be reviewed during their probationary period). Faculty and Librarians are evaluated annually by department personnel committees with input from department chairs and deans.
The Performance Appraisal process is designed to enhance individual employee performance and organizational effectiveness through the alignment of goals and collaborative two-way communications between supervisors and their employees to identify training and developmental needs and to provide constructive feed back to ensure that job expectations are clearly communicated and understood.
