Structure of the Project
Executive Stakeholders: The campus Vice Chancellors of Administration and Finance function as the and ultimate decision makers in the HR upgrade project.
Project Sponsors: The campus Human Resources directors make recommendations to the Vice Chancellors of Administration and Finance.
Project Management:
Project activities are based in Shrewsbury, MA and are led jointly by representatives of University Information Technology Services (UITS), the technology division of the UMass President’s Office, campus representatives and the consulting companies chosen to be our implementation partners, Cedar-Crestone and Executive Alliance. Campus Project Managers review all decisions and activities.
Project Activities:
Project tasks are assigned to the core teams, which consist of campus and UITS representatives and consultants:
- HR/Benefits Team
- Time and Labor Team
- Payroll Team
- Commitment Accounting Team
- Self-Service and eApplications Team
- Reporting Team
- Security Team
- Change Management Team
Additional project roles include Module Stewards, Key Decision Makers, Subject Matter Experts.
