PeopleSoft Human Resources Project Policies
The office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration & Finance is proud to inform the UMass Boston community of the plans to implement a new version of our Human Resource PeopleSoft system. The office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration & Finance has recently appointed the Director of Human Resources to be the business lead during this process. The Director has begun to assemble a UMass Boston team that will assist in the creation, testing, and deployment of this exciting new system
The team is currently examining the system's functional requirements. This is called "fit/gap analysis." It looks at how the system "fits" our needs or where there may be "gaps" that would require a change in business practice. We will be working in conjunction with our PeopleSoft consultant team to help with this complex process. The project team is working hard to acquaint themselves with the new functions within the PeopleSoft software and to identify best practices as we implement the best system for the University of Massachusetts
