Dear Finance User,

As of today, March 26, 2007, you will notice a difference in the way your month-end reports are organized in the Report Distribution Tool.

The highlighted changes are as follows:

  •          The separation of Non-Sponsored Grants from the Dept Package
  •          The bundling of “Other GL Finance Reports” into the Dept Package
  •          Addition of the Accounts Receivable Reports category
  •          Breakdown of the  PI package reports will be by Deptid and Project ID
  •         The redesign will include an improved date and time stamp for archived reports.  Month- End report will now use the last day of the month.  For example, January’s date stamp will now be Jan 31, 2007.  The time portion will no longer be relevant.

You will receive access to your reports in the Finance 8.9 Reporting Database once you have attended training.  Please refer to the attached document for more details and contact LInda Perrotto UMB's Change Management Lead if you have any questions
