Training

                    Campus 3

Training is a priority here at the University of Massachusetts Boston. One of the most important investments that we can make at the campus level is in the area of training and developing of our employees to assure success. Our Change Management Manager, Linda Perrotto, has been hard at work assisting in the creating and delivery of some great courses that will help employees transition into the new system. One of our objectives is to provide the best training and the proper practice database for each employee.

As in previous implementations, we have set up the Practice Center in room 311 of the Quinn Administration building. The Practice Center will open sometime in December for all groups to visit and use the practice database, also known as the UAT. If you and your department would like to schedule a training session please contact Sean McInnis.  We are encouraging all departments to visit the Practice Center and utilize the database to navigate and practice job functions within the Finance Applications and the Grant Management tool. By utilizing the practice database, you will increase your comfort level with additional hands on training and validate your security clearance needed for the "Go Live" date on January 22, 2007.

Listed below are some of the classes that are currently offered or are in the development stages by Change Management manager Linda Perrotto for our January 22, 2007 "Go live date." Linda looks forward to having you in one of her classes so she can share her knowledge and prepare each of us for January 22, 2007. In order to sign up for one of these classes please contact:
