Asian American Studies Program — The Individual Major

In consultation with a faculty advisor, interested students from any college may design and complete an individual major in Asian American Studies with the approval of both the program and the Committee on Majors, Honors, and Special Programs of the College of Liberal Arts. Typically, one or two students graduate each year with a major in Asian American Studies—often in conjunction with a second major in a traditional discipline such as sociology or psychology.
