Joint Admissions Program
Massachusetts community college students: Guarantee your admission to UMass Boston. 
The Joint Admissions Program is designed to guarantee admission to the University of Massachusetts Boston to qualified students who successfully complete a designated associate's degree program at any of the 15 Massachusetts community colleges, as well as Dean College or Quincy College.
Through the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, graduates of the public community colleges qualify for the Tuition Advantage Plan, offering a one-third reduction of in-state tuition for up to four semesters at UMass Boston as long as a student's GPA stays at 3.0 or better.
