Student Organizations
So, what’s going on at UMass Boston when you’re not sitting in class?

A great university offers you different opportunities for fun and discovery—beyond the classroom. At UMass Boston, you’ll make friends and enjoy college life even after class lets out..
And did you know that recent studies show that students who are involved in campus life are more likely to stay in school and get better grades—and have more fun? So what to do?
All year long you can experience activities on campus—films, lectures, readings, barbecues, boat trips, performances of all types—and off campus—ski trips, nights on the town, visits to museums, exploring Boston’s many neighborhoods. Many of these activities are sponsored by the Student Arts and Events Council.
