On the south side of the fifth floor you'll find the Current
Periodicals and Microforms Room. It contains the library's
most recent journals and newspapers and, on microfilm, some
of its oldest. On the north side is the Curriculum
Collection and the Archives and Special Collections. The
Curriculum Collection contains children's books and
classroom guides. The Archives and Special Collections room
houses official university publications such as UMass Boston
yearbooks and the Mass Media, UMass Boston master's theses
and doctoral dissertations, and papers of organizations,
institutions, and individuals from this region.
