The Reserve Department is at the center of the third floor.
Professors place books, journal articles, and tapes "on
reserve" so that all their students may have equal access to
these required materials. Most items on reserve can be
borrowed for 2 hours at a time and must be used in the
library. A valid UMass ID is required to borrow reserve
materials. On either side of the Reserve Department are
computer labs. A valid UMass ID is also required to use the
labs.
