The Mass Media is the student weekly newspaper which is the chief form for student expression on campus. The newspaper is operated by students.

The Info Booth is run by the Office of Student Life and is staffed by students.

The Harbor Art Gallery is a student run gallery funded by the mandatory Students Activities fee. There are exhibits by local artists and every year there is a student show in the gallery.

Classroom size is limited to a relatively small amount of space encouraging easy interaction between students and professors.

Classes are held from 8:30am to 10:00pm, Monday-Thursday, and from 8:30am to 5:00pm on Friday. Saturday classes are also offered for some courses.
