The Campus Center - the front door to UMASS and so much more!
The Campus Center functions as the main entrance to the University campus and welcomes students, staff, and visitors into a brightly lit lobby with many convenient services inside as well as providing direct access to the entire campus.
Wireless internet services are available throughout the building's public spaces and live 'Hot jacks' can be found in a variety of locations including the Atrium and on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor streets. Instructions to connect to wireless services can be found at the Information Desk in the UL lobby or at www.umb.edu/wireless.
In addition to being home to more than 70 offices , the Campus Center includes food services, a bookstore, and much more!
The student managed Gameroom is located in the rear of the Upper Level and includes a plasma screen, gaming consoles, pool tables, foosball, ping pong, and video games.
A primary stop for all students is the OneStop. This office, located in the Atrium on the Upper Level, is where students can receive assistance registering for classes, paying bills, and processing other paperwork related to attending classes. Self-service WISER terminals are available inside and outside the OneStop which offer convenience to students to look up information as well as access to email over the internet.
Follett's University Bookstore provides books for all Umass courses, a selection of popular novels and other book selections as well as UMass clothing and gear, notebooks, pens and other similar supplies. Snack foods and many convenience items are also available. You can even pre-order books on-line and pick them up without having to wait on queues.
Fee-free ATM machines from Bank of America, and a large selection of snack food vending machines are on the rear of the Upper Level just past the OneStop.
Getting here / going there
The Campus Center is the primary pickup and dropoff point for the MBTA and Crystal Transport shuttle services. There is also a taxi stand located at the front entrance. In addition to these public transportation options, the campus maintains a Zipcar pickup/dropoff location at Parking Lot 150, outside the Service Building.
