Extreme Weather Plan
Extreme weather means, for example, thunder, lightning, and high winds. Under these conditions (and only under these conditions), the main ceremony will be held in the Clark Center gymnasium, only two guests per graduate will be admitted, and only the rain tickets will be accepted. To learn whether this will be necessary, call 617.287.5313 or visit the Commencement website (www.umb.edu/commencement) after 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 27. Please note that, in the event of extreme weather, the separate college ceremonies described on this site will take place as planned but may be briefly delayed.
