Traffic and Parking
Traffic will be very heavy on Commencement Day, and we urge you to use public transportation if at all possible. If you must drive, please arrive early and allow plenty of time for your trip. Parking at the university will be free, but spaces are limited. We suggest that you and your guests review the map on this web site and become familiar with the locations of parking lots on campus.
Ample handi-capped parking will be available in the North Lot, South Lot, Beacons Lot and Clark Lot.
Please note that some lots are about a ten-minute walk from the main ceremony location. If on-campus lots are full, guests will be directed to the Bayside Expo Center, where parking will be available for $6.00; from Bayside they can walk to the JFK/UMass Station and take a free shuttle bus to campus.
