Other Awards:

  • In April 2008, the Center and its Graduate Certificate Program received the 2008 “Progress in Equity Award” from the American Association of University Women – Massachusetts.
  • On October 21, 2005, the Graduate Certificate Program received the “Innovative and Creative Programming Award” from the University Continuing Education Association of New England.
  • The Program received an Honorable Mention award for “Progress in Equity” from the American Association of University Women at its “Speaking out for Justice Award Dinner” on June 26, 2005.
  • On October 20, 2004, Center Director Carol Hardy-Fanta received a 2005 Leading Women Award from the Girl Scouts Council of Eastern Massachusetts. 

Recent Grant Received.

In January 2011, the Center received a grant from the Jobin-Leeds Partnership for Democracy and Education, LLC, to support the $175,000 Women's Pipeline for Change Women of Color Research Fellowships. Read More
