Health Insurance and Immunization Requirements
All students enrolled in at least 75% of a fulltime program are required
by Massachusetts law to carry either the student health insurance offered
by the university or some other comparable health insurance program.
So
if you are going to remain covered under a parent's plan, you need
to show proof of this. At UMass Boston, a student is participating in
75% of fulltime curriculum if he or she is registered for nine (9) credits or
more at the undergraduate level.
Not
afraid of a little needle, now, are you?
All degree-seeking students must
submit documented evidence of immunization against measles, mumps, rubella,
diphtheria and tetanus to complete registration for classes.
